OUR HISTORY
In 2014, four individuals with several years of experience in the window and door industry founded Portes & Fenêtres ECOFIBRE Inc. These founders are:
Philippe Coletti, Guy Fortin, Paul Dalcourt, and Normand Fafard.
The goal of their partnership was to manufacture windows and doors using fiberglass profiles. Philippe Coletti has owned PVC Aluminium since 1980, where he manufactures PVC, Hybrid PVC, and sliding windows. A showroom located on the second floor displays fiberglass windows, doors, and sliding doors. Half of the factory is dedicated to the production of fiberglass windows.
In 2023, a new partner, Jules Blanchette of “Techniques Canadien D’Export Inc.,” joined the Eco-Fibre family. Mr. Blanchette, an expert in export, particularly in residential, institutional, and commercial construction, brings invaluable expertise and experience.
Mr. Blanchette, the Coletti family, and Guy Fortin now form a new team under the name Portes & Fenêtres ECO-FIBRE 2023 Inc. The team, having had good experiences in exporting over the years to places like Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Freeport Bahamas, Antigua, Anguilla, and Haiti, has enjoyed success when the Canadian dollar was weaker than the US dollar.
The current exchange rate between the Canadian and US dollars presents new export opportunities. Additionally, our product is well-suited for this market. Salt air does not affect fiberglass, all hardware is rust-proof, and our product is also approved as impact glass. We have the necessary workforce to collaborate with local workers for the installation of our products.
